Ironically, typical falls mats are actually a trip hazard, because they are thick and unstable under foot. This means they need to be put away to avoid causing a trip or a fall. Of course, once put away, they offer no protection at all.

The structure is normally hard but absorbs shock when you fall, and is only 1/2" thick.

No assembly is required; simply lay it where you want to protect your area, and it is also portable.
