Warranty
At HOMELife Technology, we genuinely care about the quality of the products we supply and the experience our customers have using them. Our goal is always to make things easy, fair, and stress-free if something doesn’t go as planned.
Along with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, your HOMELife Technology purchase is covered by a twelve (12) month consumer warranty, unless otherwise stated on the product listing. In practice, our team will always do their best to help you find the most practical and positive outcome when a product issue arises.
Our warranty applies to manufacturing defects and product faults that occur under normal domestic use and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
What is covered
This warranty covers faults that arise due to defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period.
If a fault is confirmed, we will assess the most appropriate remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law, which may include repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the issue. Wherever possible, we aim to resolve issues quickly and with minimal inconvenience to you.
What is not covered
This warranty does not cover damage or faults resulting from misuse, neglect, accidental damage, unauthorised modification, improper installation, exposure to unsuitable environments, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow product instructions.
Consumable components and accessories may experience normal wear and are not typically covered unless otherwise stated.
How to make a warranty claim
If you believe your product may be faulty, please contact our friendly support team at support@homelife.technology with:
- Your proof of purchase
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos or videos where practical
- Your contact details
Our team will review the information and guide you through the next steps, including any troubleshooting, return instructions, or assessment requirements.
Return of faulty products
If a product needs to be returned for assessment or repair, we will provide clear instructions before return. Please ensure products are packaged safely to avoid damage in transit.
Where a warranty claim is accepted, reasonable return shipping costs may be reimbursed or arranged in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Assessment timeframes can vary depending on product type and supplier processes, however we always aim to keep you informed along the way.
Manufacturer warranties
Some products may also carry a manufacturer’s warranty in addition to your consumer guarantees. Where applicable, our team is happy to assist you in accessing manufacturer warranty support.
Your statutory rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Relationship to Refund Policy
Change-of-mind returns and discretionary refunds are governed separately under our Refund Policy. If your concern relates to a change of mind rather than a product fault, our Refund Policy outlines our 30-day satisfaction guarantee and return process
Please retain your proof of purchase for all warranty claims.
