We bought this frame as a present for my mother in law who has Dementia. She has recently moved into a Nursing Home. Even with all of her children and partners viisiting and trying to explain, she isn't sure where she is and does not have familiar people with her 24/7 any longer. It is very confusing to her. She does not remember, later in the day, if someone visited her in the morning.
I wanted her to see familiar faces in pictures, but even more important, I wanted her to receive video messages from the people she loves throughout each day.
This frame allows us to do that.
We can be anywhere and send her a quick video to say- "Hi mum. We hope you are having a terrific day. We love you." Etc.
This would then rotate through, with all the photos we send to the frame, hopefully giving her a loved and uplifting moment each time she sees or hears
the multiple messages.
I was so excited to find there was a frame to do this. I'm in the process of inviting everyone to add the photos and messages. So far it has been very easy to use. Pictures are clear.
I can't wait to give it to her.

Really easy to upload photos. Could definitely have more features built into it, such as an option for randomisation of photos, or maybe a way to take you to the latest photo in one click.
Getting access to the frames friending code didn't work remotely so I'd recommend linking family to it before giving it as a gift if it's for someone who doesn't know technology.
It would also be good if they added features such as being able to see which photos are on the album remotely so you don't accidentally upload photos other family members have. Also it would be good to be able to delete photos using the app

Our first grandchild, Lyra, was born in Oakland California on 18October2020. Lyra was nine weeks premature and weighed 3lbs 10oz. I purchased 2 Digital Frame for my daughters for Christmas. My youngest was married 12 months ago and now expecting their first child. The frame will be better if it had the following features which should not be difficult to add:
1. Optional display of time and date when in sleep mode. In effect can be used as a digital clock display at night.
2. Make it possible for the "Friend" who has sent a photo to later delete that photo remotely.
I've given the frame to my elderly mother who is in a frail care room in a nursing home. I'll be sending new photos of her great grandchildren to her frame from time to time. She is however not able to use the touch screen menu to manage (hide or delete) the photos I send her. So the number of photos in her slide show will soon get out of hand. It will therefore be useful if I could select a photo that I've previously sent her and send a delete command.
Also having the time displayed at night in her room will be very useful for her.

The frame is exactly as shown/described. It was easy to setup and holds a lot of images with the on board storage.
Please note that the sd card slot is only useful for backups or initial load of photos only and not to extend the storage capacity.
The app is very convenient to use to push photos wirelessly to the frame which is the reason why I got this frame.
The only limitation is that you can only upload max of 10 photos in one go but its sufficient for my appliaction of this frame as the initial load (containing 1000s) can be done via the sd card.
Overall really happy and I am already considering getting another as a present for the grand parents.
